How to Do a Graphing Linear Regression in Two Variables Worksheet

A graphing calculator is a useful device for students to practice and understand the concepts of linear equations. In the drop-down box, choose the type of graph you wish to create. Type in the x and y values for the x-axis, and then enter the slope term.

A graph like this will be more effective if it is printed out. To do this, highlight all of the data points on the graph, and then click on the print button. A graph like this will produce visual proof that your theory is true. If you cannot print the graph out, you can copy the plot to a new document. Use the copy feature only for plotting new data, as you can undo your work at any time.

In addition to selecting a different value for the x-axis, you could move the location of the origin. You can then open this file in an Excel compatible software such as Microsoft Excel to do some further analysis of your data. You should make sure that you place all of your data in cells with the same height or font size. You may have to change the fonts in several cells to get the charts you want.
